WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
The 2024 Rally Against Cancer is again in full swing to help strike out cancer for patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and surrounding hospitals.
On March 27th and 28th, please show your support by wearing your best sports jersey and/or hat. Throughout the years our community has come together and shown that we care and want to help. Thank you all for your efforts in helping to strike out cancer!
When donating, please note your child's teacher's name to count towards the various school rewards.
April 1st, make sure you head to Mel's Downtown Creamer where a portion of the sales will benefit our Rally Against Cancer
Every year approximately 30,000 individuals receive a new cancer diagnosis in Connecticut with a variety of treatment plans and approaches. Throughout the state and country families find themselves dealing with the mental, medical, and financial costs of these diagnosis. Cancer institutes, such as Dana Farber, provide patients opportunities to receive cutting edge treatment and targeted intervention. Local and region hospitals are able to concentrate on direct patient care and adjust standard of care options based on the research provided by Dana Farber and others.
Your support allows Dana-Farber doctors and researches to care to pediatric and adult patients, help families and caregivers be there for their loved ones, and provide funds for researchers investigate cutting edge treatments. Every part of Dana Farber's mission is to get us closer to a world without cancer.
