Thank you for visiting our Cranio Warrior Research Fund Giving Page to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute!
We are thrilled to celebrate Harry’s high school graduation this June! In honor of this joyous occasion we are raising funds to advance research to help Harry, and other kids like him, with craniopharyngioma.
Current treatment options are limited for this rare type of brain tumor, and they often cause learning, growth, and health problems that dramatically impact the quality of life for children with the disease. But, Harry’s team of doctors at Dana-Farber are committed to changing this. To learn more about the biology of these tumors and to help create new treatment options, the team is leading a large-scale genomic sequencing effort to uncover mutations in craniopharyngiomas. The aim is to target these mutations with existing therapies if they’re available, and to develop new ones. By making a gift to the Cranio Warrior Research Fund, you will help accelerate this critical research and have a profound impact on the lives of children facing cancer. We so appreciate your support of this page, this project, and of course, Harry.
Harry’s journey has not been easy, but we are in awe of the person he is and all that he has accomplished. Despite missing countless classes for procedures, tests, and appointments, Harry was an honor roll student, manager of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team, an involved member of student government, and worked at Newton Wellesley Hospital on Friday afternoons. We are so proud and continue to be inspired by Harry’s upbeat personality and his determination to enjoy life to its fullest.
Thank you for celebrating Harry’s milestone achievement in such a meaningful way through your gift to the Cranio Warrior Research Fund!
