If you were Donna's family, friend, co-worker or neighbor you know how hard she fought her battle with Ovarian cancer. You more than likely also know that she participated in a trial at Dana Faber, with Dr. Carolyn Krasner and her wonderful staff who are a part of the Dr. Matulonis Research Program.
It was one of Donna's last wishes that we omit flowers at her funeral and support Dr. Krasner's work. I personally witnessed the compassionate, skillful care that the trial staff and Dana Faber in general gave Donna. So I humble ask that you consider giving a donation of any amount to honor of Donna and in gratitude for her research team at Dana Farber.
Donna lost her battle on November 3, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family with the full knowledge that she did everything she could to win the fight. Her participation in the trial at Dana Faber was not the least of what she did, but she was sure graced to have had the opportunity to participate and for that she remained grateful to her last breath.
Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
To all those still fighting the good fight, pray to Donna, she knows what it takes to hang in there and fight... Thank you for donating anything you can.
