Dr. Gaylen B. Kelley, 90, of Middleton passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2021, due to complications from Covid-19, surrounded by his family and wife Glenice. Glenice U. (Espling) Kelley, 87, passed away two days later on February 5, 2021, from Leiomyosarcoma and complications from Covid-19, with her two sons by her side.
In 2014, Glenice was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma and lived with this aggressive cancer far beyond even her doctors’ expectations. She was lovingly cared for by Dr. Matthew Hemming and his team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute until early 2020, when it became increasingly difficult to make the frequent trips into Boston. Gaylen always accompanied Glenice to Dana-Farber for her visits. The family will be forever grateful to Dr. Hemming for his kindness and attentive care.
Thank you so much for your donation which will be used to further Leiomyosarcoma research.
