Boston Bound! The Smith family has generously given me their bib number to run the Boston Marathon this year! It is an honor to able to to run for Chels and continue the growing support you all have shown over the years for the Smiths and the ongoing research to fight cancer. I am very grateful to call the Smiths my second family and beyond proud to represent them and all those who have been affected by cancer. For those who didn’t have the chance to meet Chels, her motto was “keep smiling, beautiful” and this perfectly describes her. She was born a fighter who faced many challenges throughout life. She always had a smile on her face and took life head on with a positive, courageous attitude. Whether it was a medical battle, hanging with her family and friends, or obsessively shopping online, she spread joy and happiness through her unbelievable outlook on life.
All proceeds will be going to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Jimmy Fund, and Dr. Ali O’Neill’s research for Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
Thank you all in advance!
Keep smiling, beautiful
