So many colleagues,
friends and family have been looking for ways to support Diana and the Doukov
family in her battle with cancer. In December, Diana was diagnosed with a form
of pediatric kidney cancer called Wilms' Tumor, where both of her kidneys are affected.
Diana has been undergoing chemotherapy at Dana Farber since December. Following
chemo, she will likely need surgery, all with the goal of remission.
Diana is such a strong and happy baby through all of this. She has received
outstanding care and effective therapies at Dana Farber and her tumors are
shrinking! The foremost researchers on Wilms' Tumor are leading her treatment
path.
We are setting up this page to give you the option, if you wish, to donate
money specifically in Diana's honor for research on Wilms' Tumor.
Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber's mission.
Thank you for supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund's mission to conquer cancer. All gifts to this Giving Page will support the lifesaving work being done every day at Dana-Farber.
