Michele was a
fighter, from the day she got diagnosed in 2015, she made the decision that she
would do whatever it took to try and beat her cancer. On day 1 at Dana Farber,
her doctors told her that if she did everything they asked of her she most
likely had only 24-36 months and to prove how tough she was, she made it 37.
Michele did not fight alone though, her team at Dana Farber was with her every
step of the way. Her Nurse Katie was there from Day 1 right until her final
days. She would sometimes finish her shift and then come to see Michele in the
hospital after what had already been a long day.
Her doctors Charlie, Brian, Erin, Matt, Doug and many others were tremendous in
the both the time and the help that they gave.
It came as no surprise that when her final instructions were read, that she
asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the place that gave her 3 extra
years.
Thank you for thinking of donating to this wonderful organization!
