Thank you for visiting our Giving Page to honor Sheila Shoicket's incredible 48 years at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute!
Sheila has watched Dana-Faber grow from one building into many, including offsites and satellites. She treated all employees, visitors, and especially patients with respect and a smile, and worked with the goal to make the place a little better every day.
She put on many hats during her time before becoming Manager of General Services. A colleague said, “We often joke that our department’s name is too broad, which leads everyone to our doors for all sorts of things. And we help or redirect them as best as we can, with the guiding motto that Sheila’s instilled in us and the department as a whole: the smallest gestures leave a lasting impact.” Our goal is to leave Sheila’s lasting impact by raising funds to add Sheila's name to a piece of Dana-Farber's campus so that her legacy continues into the future, while raising funds to support cancer research and care.
