On November 10, 2024 hundreds of Dana-Farber runners, including myself, will participate in the B.A.A.’s Boston Half. I am training to run 13.1 miles this summer (crazy right?!?!) to complete the half marathon through Boston’s Emerald Necklace and support research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Thanks to your contribution, we will support Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund to combat cancer!
Every mile and each donation, supports The Dana-Farber Campaign, focused on supporting revolutionary research, extraordinary care, and exceptional expertise, to help Dana-Farber accomplish it’s mission of preventing, treating, and defying cancer.
When I was told about this marathon, I took a moment to consider the personal and physical effort this would take which seemed minimal when I have witnessed the many tireless efforts and positive mindsets of family members and friends who have faced cancer. I ask you to join me and support my efforts, while I support our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues who have fought their own cancer diagnosis.
