WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Dustin Liang is a current senior at Sharon High School. He has many interests including swimming and playing chess. However in June 2023 he was diagnosed with leukemia which altered his life forever. He’s currently receiving treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital. Shortly after his diagnosis, the organization Dustin Strong was created and we’ve held several successful events with one of them being a 5K fundraiser with Dana-Farber. We’re now planning to do another in late March in honor of Dustin with all of the funds going towards pediatric cancer research.
