I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk to honor, remember and celebrate my wife Kathy. Throughout her 4.5 year battle with Lung Cancer, Dana Farber and her team of doctors, nurses and a whole team of caregivers were there every step of the way. They were amazingly compassionate, smart and caring, and through their efforts, they gave us cherished time and greatly improved quality of life for Kathy, me and the boys.
I walk in support of the all too many current and future cancer patients, and I know first hand that every $ raised in support of DFCI's mission of world class cancer research and care is truly LIFE GIVING.
I walk with the the ultimate finish line in my heart: a world without cancer.
