How do I start a team?
After selecting Register, choose "Start a Team" and follow the on-screen instructions. After your team name is registered, other members of your team can register under this name by choosing the "Join a Team" option and selecting your team name from the available list.
Can I register as an individual player and not as part of a team?
Absolutely! Please select "Join as an Individual" during the registration process and choose an individual batting, fielding, or full inning package. The Jimmy Fund will assign you with other participants during Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy is as follows:
"If I register for the event, I am obligated to submit the fundraising minimum. I understand that I will be responsible for the fundraising minimum whether I participate on event day or not. The registration fee is non-refundable."
NOTE: Each participant is required to agree to the above policy at the time of registration.
Once I have registered, can I change any of my registration information?
After you register, you can change your personal or contact information by logging in to your Participant Center and clicking on the “Edit Profile” tab.

Can I choose what time I will bat and/or field?
Although the Jimmy Fund will do its best to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee a specific time. You may receive a batting and/or fielding spot at any time during the day.
Is there an age restriction for on-field participants?
Yes, all fielding participants must be 15 years or older at the time of the event. There is no age restriction for batting participants. There is a batting tee available for participants to use if requested.
What is the fundraising agreement?
Your registration information will be processed after you agree to the following policy:
"In consideration of the acceptance of my registration to the 2023 Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway, I agree to collect the fundraising minimum (Registration Fee NOT included) of $2,250/MVP Package, $1,800/Silver Slugger package, or $700/Gold Glove package for the benefit of the Jimmy Fund and to be personally responsible for the difference if I fail to collect the required funds. The deadline for receipt of the minimum amount is two weeks after the event date. I understand that the outstanding balance toward the fundraising minimum will be charged to my credit card if I have not met this requirement by the deadline."
If I set my fundraising goal higher than the minimum, will I be held responsible for the extra money?
While we do encourage you to aim high and raise as much as you can towards our mission to strike out cancer, we will only hold you responsible for the required fundraising minimum, regardless of the goal you set for yourself.
If I raise more than the fundraising minimum, can I apply the difference to next year's event?
No. All revenue raised during the 2023 Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway season will be applied towards the 2023 event.

Guests may enter Fenway Park through Gate A on Jersey St. Guests will be able to cheer you on from the grandstands where they can view all of the on-field action!
Please note, only on-field participants are allowed in participant-restricted areas.

You are scheduled to bat approximately an hour after check-in. Fielders will also take to the field 45 minutes after check-in. To reserve your space, it is necessary for you to check-in at Fenway Park promptly at your designated check-in time.

After you check in at participant registration, an escort will bring you to the batting cages to "warm up."
Where do I go if I have a fielding package?
After you check in at participant registration, an escort will bring you to the Red Sox dugout where the Fielding Coordinator will provide detailed instructions.
Will there be a pitching machine?
Yes. All participants can request to hit off a batting tee if that is more comfortable. Hand tossed pitches will not be allowed. Aluminum bats are provided, although we have limited sizes; you are more than welcome to bring your own bat.
Does the Jimmy Fund record the event? Take photos?
There will be no recording of the 2023 event. Photos will be taken of batters and fielders and will be emailed out as soon as available.
Where do I change? Are there showers?
Participants will be able to change at Fenway Park in a bathroom. Unfortunately, there are no shower facilities available, and the locker room is not a permitted changing area.
What happens if it rains?
Should the weather seem questionable, please call 617-582-8342 and listen to the voicemail recording. We will update this message and the website periodically with information regarding the event.
