TEAM UP WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Many Jimmy Fund Walk teams are a combination of family, friends, and communities who come together against cancer to make a difference. Teams often rally together in honor of a loved one to show their support.
FEATURED JIMMY FUND WALK TEAM
Comprised of longtime individual walkers and some new ones, Team GRIT registered for the first time last year. They stand for their shared values of G.R.I.T.: "Grateful," "Resolute," "Impactful," and "Tenacious."
“Our team is made up of friends and family aligned with one goal—to reach a cancer-free world. Together, we proudly wear our GRIT gear as we navigate the streets from Hopkinton to Boston. We laugh a lot, cry some, and carry loved ones in our hearts each step of the way. Together, we are stronger.”
CORPORATE TEAMS
Many companies and organizations start a team or sponsor the Jimmy Fund Walk through a financial or in-kind contribution. The Jimmy Fund staff is available to offer guidance and provide resources every step of the way. Contact Stephanie Dolliver to learn more.

Genentech has sponsored the Jimmy Fund Walk for many years. In recent years, a group of employees also laces up to walk and fundraise as members of Team Genentech!

DANA-FARBER EMPLOYEE TEAMS
The Jimmy Fund Walk allows those that work together, to walk together. All Dana-Farber employees are encouraged to walk and participate alongside our courageous patients and their families and friends. All employee walkers will be invited to events throughout the year including Jimmy Fund Walk Spirit Week and will receive a special patch to wear on Walk day.
Dana-Farber Employee led teams are also eligible to earn the coveted Golden Sneaker Awards: Excellence in Fundraising, Pacesetter Power, Rookie of the Year, and Staff Spotlight.

Terri is the Team Captain of Team Merrimack Valley. 2022 was the team's first year participating in the Walk and we're thrilled to welcome them back for 2023!
