TEAM UP WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Many Jimmy Fund Walk teams are a combination of family, friends, and communities who come together against cancer to make a difference. Teams often rally together in honor of a loved one to show their support.
FEATURED JIMMY FUND WALK TEAM
In 2021, 12-year-old Emily was diagnosed with leukemia. Her bravery and perseverance inspired those who love her to start Walk team For the Love of Em, in her honor.
“This year, For the Love of Em hopes to double their miles and funds raised. Emily is on track to complete her treatment this December, and the team plans to make the Jimmy Fund Walk an annual tradition to help raise money for the Jimmy Fund for years to come.”
CORPORATE TEAMS
Many companies and organizations start a team or sponsor the Jimmy Fund Walk through a financial or in-kind contribution. The Jimmy Fund staff is available to offer guidance and provide resources every step of the way. Contact Stephanie Dolliver to learn more.

FEATURED JIMMY FUND WALK CORPORATE TEAM
Team Deloitte has been proud to participate in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk for close to 20 years.
“2022 was a transformative year for the team, after experiencing a decline in participation during the pandemic. We recruited new walkers, raised over $30,000 with participation across Deloitte’s Boston practices, and earned the 2022 Corporate Spotlight Award! We are thrilled to build on this momentum in 2023, with a team dedicated to raising critical funds for cancer research and care.”
DANA-FARBER EMPLOYEE TEAMS
The Jimmy Fund Walk allows those that work together, to walk together. All Dana-Farber employees are encouraged to walk and participate alongside our courageous patients and their families and friends. All employee walkers will be invited to events throughout the year including Jimmy Fund Walk Spirit Week and will receive a special patch to wear on Walk day.
Dana-Farber Employee led teams are also eligible to earn the coveted Golden Sneaker Awards: Excellence in Fundraising, Pacesetter Power, Rookie of the Year, and Staff Spotlight.
