Kick for Cancer
Hosting a sporting event is a fun and active way to support Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund! Kicks for Cancer, a soccer tournament in Concord, MA, has been running every year since 2007! To learn more about running a sporting event, contact your Jimmy Fund liaison or complete the inquiry form above.
Taste the Cure
Who doesn't love gathering together for a good cause? Combine your love for food and passion for fighting cancer by hosting a food-themed fundraiser! Since 2016, Taste the Cure, a wine-tasting and food event, has raised over $500,000 for Dana-Farber. Local Country Comes Together
Hosting a virtual event is a great way to bring people together to fight cancer, no matter where they are! With COVID-19, many of our fundraisers decided to get creative and pivot their events to virtual. In 2020, country singers across New England performed a virtual concert to benefit the Jimmy Fund called "Local Country Comes Together". Scooper Schools
Some of the most loyal Jimmy Fund supporters are the youngest! Classrooms and families all over New England introduce the younger generation to philanthropy by hosting a Jimmy Fund event at a young age. Kids love to host events like bake sales, car washes, and lemonade stands. Fall Formal for Dana-Farber
A gala or celebration typically includes a silent or live auction, entertainment, and food and drink. Fall Formal for Dana-Farber has been hosting their gala since 2014, and the committee has raised over $500,000! Community Events
Our community events range from a food truck festival to selling carnations to a flea market! This group of passionate supporters sells carnations in honor of a lost loved one at Dana-Farber every Valentine's day, with all proceeds supporting Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund.
