Many Jimmy Fund Walk teams are a combination of family, friends, and communities who come together to make a difference. Teams often rally together in honor of a loved one to show their support.

In 2017, at the time of the Jimmy Fund Walk, Robert Dunphy had just completed his second week of radiation therapy.
“This year's event is a testament to the incredible work DFCI employees perform on a daily basis. I will never be able to repay my truly amazing care team for what they have given me—another opportunity at life. Participating was a tremendous way to express my gratitude for the life-saving work of DFCI. My family, friends and I look forward to making it an annual tradition!”
Many companies and organizations start a team or sponsor the Jimmy Fund Walk through a financial or in-kind contribution. The Jimmy Fund staff is available to offer guidance and provide resources every step of the way. Contact Samantha Rose, Corporate Teams Coordinator, to learn more.
