To keep our supporters safe and healthy during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have cancelled both Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® in Boston and Scooper Bowl NYC for 2020. We look forward to seeing you in summer 2021!
Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® began in 1983, when four New England ice cream companies came together for one day to serve scoops and smiles to tourists and school children in the Boston Common. They raised $1,000 for cancer care and research at Dana-Farber that year. The next year, the event was officially named "Scooper Bowl"—and the rest is history.
Today, Boston’s favorite summer tradition spans three fun-filled days, serving over 20 tons of ice cream and frozen yogurt to more than 40,000 ice cream lovers each year. In 2017, Scooper Bowl expanded to New York City's Bryant Park, bringing sweet treats to the Big Apple. From traditional chocolate and vanilla to out-of-the-box flavors, Scooper Bowl has something for everyone.
Scoop at Night is Boston’s sweetest happy hour. Relax after work at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Esplanade with all-you-can-eat ice cream, music, games, and beer and wine from local vendors. Attendees must be 21 or older. IDs will be checked at the entrance.
With over 50 to choose from, Scooper Bowl has a flavor for every taste. Grab a scoop and enjoy music from local bands and DJs.
