Many Jimmy Fund Walk teams are a combination of family, friends, and communities who come together to make a difference. Teams often rally together in honor of a loved one to show their support.
Mindy and Jennifer are Co-Captains of 4U. The team has raised over $153K since they started walking in 2014!
“Our Team name is 4U! That’s right, we walk for you and everyone else who has been impacted by all cancers. Our walking team includes 5 survivors, friends, and parents of survivors. Teammates who have lost a spouse, a parent, a close friend, or a sibling. The walk allows us to be united, positive and make a true difference against a horrible beast that we all experienced. We are grateful for this walk!”
Many companies and organizations start a team or sponsor the Jimmy Fund Walk through a financial or in-kind contribution. The Jimmy Fund staff is available to offer guidance and provide resources every step of the way. Contact Samantha Rose, Corporate Teams Coordinator, to learn more.
