Slugger package, or $700/Gold Glove package for the benefit of the Jimmy Fund and to be personally responsible for the difference if I fail to collect the required funds. The deadline for receipt of the minimum amount is two weeks after
the event date. I understand that the outstanding balance toward the fundraising minimum will be charged to my credit card if I have not met this requirement by the deadline."
If I set my fundraising goal higher than the minimum, will I be held responsible for the extra money?
While we do encourage you to aim high and raise as much as you can towards our mission to strike out cancer, we will only hold you responsible for the required fundraising minimum, regardless of the goal you set for yourself.

What date is Jimmy Fund Day at Fenway?
Stay tuned for the 2023 event date!
How do my guests enter Fenway Park and where can they watch me bat and/or field?
Please stay tuned on where guests may enter Fenway Park! Guests will be able to cheer you on from the grandstands where they can view all of the on-field action!
Please note, only on-field participants are allowed in participant-restricted areas.
I know my check-in time, but what time will I actually be batting or fielding?
You are scheduled to bat approximately an hour after check-in. Fielders will also take to the field 45 minutes after check-in. Throughout the day, we may be behind or ahead of schedule and therefore batting times may shift accordingly. To reserve your space, it is necessary for you to check-in at Fenway Park promptly at your designated check-in time.
Where do I go if I have a batting package?
After you check in at participant registration, an escort will bring you to the batting cages to "warm up."
Where do I go if I have a fielding package?
After you check in at participant registration, an escort will bring you to the Red Sox dugout where the Fielding Coordinator will provide detailed instructions.
Will there be a pitching machine?
Yes. All participants can request to hit off a batting tee if that is more comfortable. Hand tossed pitches will not be allowed. Aluminum bats are provided, although we have limited sizes; you are more than welcome to bring your own bat.
Does the Jimmy Fund record the event? Take photos?
There will be no recording of the 2023 event. Photos will be taken of batters and fielders and will be emailed out as soon as available.
Where do I change? Are there showers?
Participants will be able to change at Fenway Park in a bathroom. Unfortunately, there are no shower facilities available, and the locker room is not a permitted changing area.
What happens if it rains?
Should the weather seem questionable, please call 617-582-8342 and listen to the voicemail recording. We will update this message and the website periodically with information regarding the event.
