WHY I’M FUNDRAISING WITH THE DANA-FARBER MARATHON CHALLENGE TO DEFY CANCER

On April 15, 2024, I will be participating in my 9th Boston Marathon.  This time I will be running as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team! I will proudly be raising funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where I have been a nurse practitioner for in the Center for Neuro-Oncology for the past 11 years. I am dedicating this race to my patients, their families and loved ones. I have witnessed the nightmare that cancer is through their experiences, and I plan to do everything in my power to raise funds to find better treatments and eventually a cure for this awful disease.  

Running is the easy part. Eliminating cancer is the goal - a goal I know we can achieve if we work together.
