As you may know, my mother Carolyn (Lynn) Dillon passed on June 23, 2018, after a short yet courageous battle with Melanoma. On February 26th (my birthday) mom was informed she had tumors on her brain and required immediate surgery. She later had another surgery May 22, 2018 to remove the tumor that had come back. She battled hard and lived her final days by the saying, "Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain." Mom volunteered at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in Milford Massachusetts to assist cancer patients by giving them hand massages. Dana-Farber treated her and our family exceptionally well.
As much as I’ll be thinking about my mom, unfortunately I also know too many friends who have also had to deal with similar cancer stories. So I want everyone to know that if you have a story or just want to be part of our team, I want you to join me. It will be my honor to run in the 128th Boston Marathon for all of us....
Please join our team and donate anything you can and feel free to share and pass this message on to anyone else who you think has someone they want me to run for and be on our team! It will be amazing to see what we all can do!

One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
