I am thrilled to be participating in my second Dana Farber Marathon Challenge on behalf of my two loved ones who were successfully treated for breast cancer over the past two years!
Last year’s DFMC Challenge was an incredibly positive experience. Friends and family were essential allies, enabling me to significantly exceed my fundraising goal and providing constant energy and encouragement throughout my training. Race day was a whirlwind of raucous crowds, my family cheering section, and the pride and relief of successfully reaching the finish line.
So let’s do it again, in support of the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, in thanks to Dana Farber’s gifted team of doctors, nurses, researchers, and professionals, and in celebration of my two loved ones who successfully navigated their cancer journeys and emerged healthy and deeply grateful for the state-of-the-art care they received.
