I am thrilled to hear that I have been accepted to run the 128th Boston Marathon in April 2024 with the Dana-Farber team, to raise funds and awareness for transformational cancer research.
As a recent breast cancer patient, I have experienced the amazing advances our cancer researchers have made that directly benefit patient experience and outcome. I am particularly appreciative of the research and evidence supporting the amazing value of exercise helping patients deal with side effects of chemotherapy, and to improve outcomes.
As a fundamental medical researcher, I understand the value of every charitable dollar that can help fund the most innovative ideas in early phases, and have particular benefits for our early and mid-career researchers.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Thank you for your support! Together, we're headed toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
