In 2024, hundreds of Dana-Farber runners will take to the streets to participate in the 128th Boston Marathon®. The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team runs and raises funds with thousands of special people in mind.
This foundation is especially close to both myself and my cousin, Kelli, as we have watched two women close to us become warriors as they battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Both women are near and dear to us: Jennifer (Kelli’s mom & my aunt) and Annabelle (my long term family friend). We are continuously inspired by their strength, resilience, and ability to maintain a positive attitude regardless of the immensely challenging moments. They are our motivation, purpose, and the driving force behind us finally knocking the Boston Marathon off our bucket list.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
Thank you for your support! Together, we're headed toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
