In 2025, I am planning on running all the Abbott World Marathon Majors in one calendar year, which of course includes Boston! Understanding the enormous amount of privilege that I have to be able to even consider this, I am seeking charities at each of these marathons to be able to raise funds for causes that are important to me!
I am excited to run my 19th consecutive Boston Marathon this year, supporting the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) for the third time! The DFMC raises funds for the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
Throughout the years, my family, friends, and the patients I have taken care of have been affected by cancer. The DFMC directs 100% of funds to the Claudia Adams Barr Program. With the breakthroughs in scientific research, innovations in the care of patients with cancer have continued to progress!
