I am thrilled to be running in the 2024 Boston Marathon for Dana-Farber as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge Team and Summit Partners' Team Trustey!
I will be running in honor of a few specific individuals. Team Trustey runs in honor of the Trustey Family and in memory of Joe, AJ, and Anna Trustey. I will also be running in honor of my Grandpa Martin (Leslie Martin) and my Grandpa G (Louis Guadagno).
I have been fortunate to have four amazing grandparents who have served as mentors, role models, and sources of inspiration in many aspects of my life. Two of my grandparents (mentioned above) have had their own battles with Leukemia. Grandpa Martin was a patient of Dana-Farber, and the treatment he received was instrumental in managing his Leukemia, which allowed him to enjoy an active life right up to his final days.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
