I am incredibly honored to be running in the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2024. I will participate with hundreds of teammates on The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team. We will run and raise critical funds with very special people in mind. From Hopkinton to Boston, I will carry Karl’s memory with me every step I take, along with the profound hope that cancer can be stopped in its tracks. With your help it can!
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the Marathon Challenge team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling today's most promising cancer research, resulting in improved survival rates and quality of life for cancer patients everywhere. Karl and I were so grateful for the exceptional teams at Dana-Farber and the treatment options and compassionate care that we received. It is my honor and privilege to run for Karl and the countless others who battle every day of their cancer journey.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my run and the groundbreaking programs and research discoveries at Dana-Farber. Together, we are headed to the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
