Arbella’s 14th Annual "Pink Day" to benefit Dana-Farber's Community Benefits Program
Here at Arbella, Pink Day has been a symbol of our culture of giving for the last 14 years and we are very excited to be doing it again this year. Many of us or our family members have been touched by cancer, and we can all use a little Pink Day spirit – this year more than ever!
On October 12, Arbella will host its 14th annual Pink Day to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Community Benefits Program.
How to Get Involved
Each department will put together a gift basket, and employees can purchase raffle tickets for baskets they’re interested in on Pink Day.
And, when Arbella Insurance Group employees make a donation to Dana-Farber through this event page, your donation will be matched by the Arbella Insurance Foundation. To date, Arbella Pink Day has raised more than $440,000 for cancer awareness and screening procedures.
We encourage you to dress in pink and join us for what is sure to be the most fun you’ll have all year!
Making a Difference since 2009
Founded in 2009, Pink Day was created by former Arbella employee Dot Olson after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatment at Dana-Farber. Her incredible experience there inspired her to create Pink Day, a day in which we can help make quality Dana-Farber health care available to those who may otherwise go without. Since its inception, Pink Day has been instrumental in furthering Dana-Farber’s mission to garner continued support for cancer awareness and research. Now retired, Olson still attends the annual Pink Day celebration, which is now coordinated by the Arbella Activities Committee (AAC).
