WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Our Jimmy Fund Tennis Tournament is being re-launched this year at the Beverly Golf and Tennis club in support of the Jimmy Fund. It will be held on August 16th at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. The tournament is in memory and honor of David Altshuler who was responsible for the tournament / fund raiser for many years, and in support of "Team Multiple Myeloma" which was established last year by Mark Greenberg, co-owner of Bass River Tennis. Our Jimmy FundRaiser directly benefits the Jimmy Fund, which has raised millions of dollars through thousands of grassroots efforts to help save lives and give hope to patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Tournament participants are automatically having their entry fee count 100% as a donation to the Jimmy Fund. The entry fee per team member is $100 (but of course you can donate more) and includes the Tennis, Tennis Balls, Trophies and lunch. Those who wish to donate but not participate in the tournament can also donate through this page. Any and all donations are very appreciated.
The tournament will include two flights of doubles. - the B flight where the combined rating must be less than or equal to 7.0 and the A flight where any level player can participate. The doubles teams can consist of two men, two women or a mixed doubles team. All participants will play in round robins with the final 4 teams in each flight advancing to the semi-finals.
To Enter the Tournament:
In the Notes section at the bottom of your donation (of at least $100) please state:

- Your level (i.e. 3.0, 3.5, etc.)
