The Milford (NH) High School girls' soccer team is holding its annual 'pink' game, a significant event that brings our community together. This event, held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is not just about wearing pink uniforms. It's about raising awareness about breast cancer and collecting donations that will go directly to cutting-edge research and compassionate patient cancer care.
Each year, the team selects an individual close to the team or family/friends of a team member to honor in their fight against cancer. Your donations, in honor of the individual, are a crucial part of this fundraiser. They will go to the honoree's charity of choice, making you an integral part of our cause.
This year, the honoree is Kevin Tronkowski, a dear friend of the team and the goalkeeper coach for the past 15 years. Kevin is currently battling metastatic colon cancer at the Dana Farber Institute. His charity of choice is the Jimmy Fund, with donations to benefit Dr. Benjamin Schlector's colon cancer research being performed by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Thank you for your generosity. Together, we’re all Jimmy, and we will defy cancer!
