This event supports the Jimmy Fund which raises money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As most of you know, my father, Joe Silva passed away from an aggressive type of Brain tumor in 2015. My team and I, Joe’s “Silva” Bullets will be ski racing in his memory on Sat. February 1st at Nashoba Valley. Skiing was his favorite pastime along with drinking Coors Lights out on his boat in Maine at his cabin, hence the name, Joe’s “Silva” Bullets! The “Silva” Bullet won’t slow you down!
When you participate or make a gift, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can conquer cancer!
