At the Gables National Meeting this year, we asked our amazing team members a question- "what would make the national meeting absolutely magic for you?" We were flooded with fun responses, from Disney Gear to a trip to Nashville, but one wish truly touched us.
"I wish for a cure for cancer."
Shannon is battling cancer, and her only wish is for a cure.
At first, we were overwhelmed by the wish, knowing we couldn't personally grant it. However, then we thought- Gables can't cure it, but we can sure help organizations who ARE trying to cure it.
Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
