I have written a children's picture book that inspires child kindness entitledThe Magical, Marvelous, Amazing Sparkpack that Didn't Work. The book's messagefor children ages 3 to 8 years is that we shine our brightest when we share ourlight with others. I have dedicated this book to the loving memory of ToddSchwartz who lost his battle to childhood cancer at the tender age of 19. Askanyone lucky enough to have known Todd, and despite his ill health, hisincredible legacy was kindness.
Given Todd's disposition, it's no surprise that his mother, Janet Schwartz, isan extraordinary human being. She took her pain and loss and decided to walkand walk and walk. She has singlehandedly raised over $1,000,000 for the JimmyFund with her efforts. She walks to honor Todd and she has made an incredibledifference for families fighting cancer today.
I can't imagine a better mother/son team to honor with my book and its message.Let's spread a message of kindness to children and help beat cancer. The worldneeds more kindness than ever before.
My challenge and fundraising concept is to send this picture book out into theworld for free. It's an audio file (link below)! Please share it far and widewith children ages 3 to 8 years old. This lighthearted book about Bob and hismagical, marvelous, amazing sparkpack that isn't working is beautifullyillustrated, entertaining and inspires children to share their light with theworld.
Please let your child know that this picture book is seeking to raise money forchildren that don't feel well and need a cure. Please ask them if they likedthe book and if they think the book is worth money in a store. If the childsays "yes" please donate here to our fundraiser. A picture book istypically $16.00 but any donation would be gratefully received.
The three people behind this book: the author, the illustrator, and theprofessional narrator have donated 100% of their talent to help fight childhoodcancer. They seek to remain anonymous. It's a book about kindness living it'sown message. After all, we ALL shine brighter when we share our gifts withothers.
The challenge kicked off on World Kindness Day, November 13, 2018.
Please share the book far and wide! It's free! The goal is to get 1,000 viewson YouTube in this time frame. I hope you'll enjoy the book and mostly thatyou'll be inspired to donate something for our efforts. Help me honor abeautiful, selfless mom who lost her most precious child to cancer but hasworked tirelessly to fund a cure for other children. Janet and Todd Schwartzare the epitome of my book's message and so deserving of your time and adonation.
