Thank you for visiting my Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. You know from stories in my "memoir" that having been able to support The Jimmy Fund in whatever way I could has opened doors to the joy of "giving back" that I wish everyone could experience.
I have yet to meet someone who hasn't lost a friend, colleague or family member to cancer. As speakers at our Jimmy Fund golf tournaments would say, it's hoped that soon, through research such as that done at Dana-Farber, cancer will become a chronic disease, not a killer. The bigger hope is that someday people's only knowedge of cancer will be through pages in a history book.
