Giving Page in honor of James Keenan's Fundraising Page

James Keenan always lived life to its fullest. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He had many passions, including traveling, painting, flower arranging, dancing and cooking, but he was always happiest hosting a party with lots of food and plenty of laughs. He overcame many medical issues, his primary care doctor even called him a walking miracle, but he never let these problems hold him back. Unfortunately, on December 28, 2016 James was diagnosed with the devastating disease of pancreatic cancer which proved to be unbeatable. Like for James, pancreatic cancer is almost always diagnosed too late and sadly, it has an extremely low survival rate of less than 7%. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate to this giving page. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute specifically to fund pancreatic cancer research. Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund support many different causes and they allow you to choose where you would like your donations to go. To continue our fight for James and to help find a way to early diagnose this terrible disease and ultimately find a way to cure it, all contributions made through this page go directly to pancreatic cancer research. Help us to stand up to this killer and make a difference.
