WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

The Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT), brings together clinicians from Boston Children's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to assist primary health care teams, families, and children with serious illnesses/conditions. PACT cares for patients of all ages most often oncology, cardiology, genetic, and metabolic diagnoses. PACT supports treatment of the underlying illness while striving for optimal quality of life. Through a family-centered approach, PACT promotes healing, comfort, and making childhood experiences meaningful.

Funds raised go to support the PACT Quality of Life Fund which provides life enhancing opportunities for PACT patients and their families. The funds also go to support the robust bereavement program.
