Thank you for visiting Carter Vashaw's Giving Page, CV Strong, to support Dr. Katherine Warren's pediatric cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In November of 2020, Carter was diagnosed with diffuse leptomeningeal glioneuronal cancerous tumors. He faced this fight the way he faced life in general: with positivity, strength, and his heart of gold. Sadly, on July 15, 2021 after eight months, he lost his battle with cancer.
For 19 years, Carter graced his family and friends with his kind soul, infectious smile and willingness to help others. By making a donation in his memory, you are enabling Carter to continue helping others who face this horrific disease.
If you are visiting the CV Strong page for Austin, you are helping him continue to honor Carter in his absence. Cancer not only took his brother's life, but also Austin's fun-loving and spontaneous spirit. He ended his life on April 10, 2022. Austin no longer has to endure the profound grief he has struggled with internally since his bother's passing.
They were taken from us way too soon. Thank you for honoring both of them with your generous donations.
