Support the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center's Fundraising Page

WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

Thank you for visiting my Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.  All donations made through this page will be directly applied to the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center at Dana Farber.

I was diagnosed with rectal cancer on 8/30/21 and had surgery to remove the tumor in my rectum on 10/22/21.  After 34 days in the hospital post-surgery due to many complications, I was declared cancer free! My journey is far from over and I am currently navigating life with a temporary ileostomy.  Your donation will help Dana Farber further support research and care for myself and other young colorectal cancer warriors.  With 29% of colorectal cancer diagnoses in the US occurring in adults under 50 and the rates expected to double (colon cancer) and quadruple (rectal cancer) by 2030, the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center needs your support more than ever. Thank you!!
