WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Unfortunately, cancer has hit very close to home for me. My mother was diagnosed in March with Endometrial cancer. It has been a rough couple of months, but my mom is the strongest woman I know and will win this battle with cancer. From the doctors and nurses, all the way down to the staff, Dana Farber has been incredible.
On a side note, this June I will be running the Town and County Half Marathon in Newburyport, MA. I will be running this race in honor of my mom, and would love to fundraise as much money for Dana Farber to help continue the work towards curing this, and all types of cancer.
