In April 2022 Bret was diagnosed with glioblastoma stage 4, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most complex, treatment-resistant and historically the deadliest type of brain cancer. One of the first things Bret said after learning of his diagnosis and it’s challenging prognosis was, “I think I was put on this earth to change this. I am going to make it my mission to help raise awareness and find the cure.” We started the Cohen Family Glioblastoma Fund to raise critically needed funds for glioblastoma research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Bret is being treated. The goal is to identify medications and other cutting edge treatments that transform the standard of care for glioblastoma patients and ultimately get us one step closer to a cure. Bret won’t stop until he sees that mission accomplished, and the Cohen family will be with him every step of the way. His fight is our fight. We hope you will join us.
Your dollars will have a direct and immediate impact on Bret and hundreds of others who are valiantly fighting this very difficult form of brain cancer. All donations made through this page are tax deductible gifts to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and will receive an email receipt.
