Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
As some of you may already be familiar, Dana-Farber, among so many very special patient and family centered initiatives, has been focusing on families in need during the holiday season for many years. A diagnosis of cancer can be a financial burden for patients and their families. Treatment costs can be expensive and many must reduce their hours at work or leave their jobs because of their illness and treatment. The Holiday Patient Assistance Program provides gift cards to help patients and families buy presents for loved ones, put a holiday meal on the table, or afford gas to visit family and friends- when they may otherwise not be able to do so.
Historically, volunteer services has donated individually and as a team. We would like to continue this tradition. Please feel free to donate as little or as much as feels comfortable to you. Any amount is okay only if you are able. Please see below and follow directions to donate.
