Thank you for visiting my Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
This Saturday, I'm embarking on my very first marathon in Emerald Isle, NC.
As the event draws near, my excitement is mounting, my nerves are alert, and let’s be honest, I’m also a little antsy.
My primary goal is to complete the race, but the true significance lies in the person I'm running for.
This marathon is a tribute to a remarkable woman who has been my mentor and friend since 2009. She's facing a tough battle with cancer, a fight I can't directly join. So, I run in her honor.
To Jenn Solomon, a paragon of strength and resilience, I say: You will triumph over cancer, just as you have over all challenges. I'm running on Saturday for you, carrying your spirit with me. Wish me luck as I run in your name.
Jenn has Stage 4 Marginal Zone Lymphoma. She is receiving care
at Dana-Farber. Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
