WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

Dear Friends

As we near the end of this very challenging year, I want to share an update on our work for Lindsey’s Legacy App.   We have been working diligently behind the scenes developing a team of app designers and researching sources of information to build the app.  At this writing, we are poised to begin construction on an application focused on the late effects of neuroblastoma treatments (the type of cancer Lindsey had) with suggestions on how to manage them.  We plan to also include a means for survivors to connect with each otherOur goal is to launch Lindsey’s Legacy App in 2021 to help survivors and their families!

These ongoing efforts still require financial support.  If you are at all able to make a contribution, we would be sincerely grateful.

Best wishes for Safe and Happy Holidays and a much calmer New Year!

Dear Friends –

Thank you for yourgenerous gifts to Lindsey’s Giving Page and Lindsey’sLegacy Project.  We arevery grateful for your support of Lindsey and the project designed to helpother cancer survivors, their families and their medical team make informeddecisions about their care later in life.

The downloadable app weare creating will include information andstatistics regarding the health issues facing Pediatric CancerSurvivors based on the treatments theyreceived as children and the health complications they experience asadults.  We believe this project will save lives!

As we approach the end of2019, we are respectfully requesting assistance to reach our goal of $25,000 bythe end of the year to launch this project. All funds raised are earmarkedsolely for this app.   Weare so close!  Any gift you can make - small or large – will help thisproject become reality.

Thank you so very much and Happy Holidays!

Lindsey’s Family

On a snowy day in March2018 our brave and lovely Lindsey passed on. A 20 year pediatric cancersurvivor, Lindsey exemplified strength, endurance, intelligence and caring.

Throughout her life,Lindsey pushed the boundaries of what doctor's thought a pediatric cancersurvivor could do. She recognized early on that she may have a shorter timehere and was determined to live her life to the fullest. And she succeeded.

Lindsey was a truly amazing sister, daughter, loved one, and loyal friend. Shewas an unbelievably kind person who took everything that came her way with asmile on her face.

She would like nothing more than for us to help others who will face a similarjourney through life as she did.

We, her family, are humbly requesting donations on her behalf to supportpediatric cancer research and survivor care.

Thank you.
