In Memory of Charles Wu's Fundraising Page

Charles was determined to live a life of purpose, even in his retirement. After his diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), Charles would have wanted to participate in any efforts that would prevent others from having to experience this cancer that he battled bravely. Charles greatly appreciated all the care he received at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and in particular the care he received from his physicians, Drs. Richard Stone and Robert Soiffer, who offered him their best and provided Charles with several months of good quality life. Our hope is that your contribution to Dr. Stone's Leukemia Research Fund will help to one day make MDS a cancer that can be managed and treated, giving hope to those individuals and their families that may be affected by it.
