THANK YOU forvisiting my Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-FarberCancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

This page was created in honor of my mother, Gail Coshun (3/6/56 - 8/7/16), while she was battling a very rare presentation of 2 forms of Ovarian Cancer & dedicated to all of youwhose lives have been touched (either directly or indirectly) by cancer of anytype.

We are all family. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Dana Farber & Woman's Hospital has been our saving grace since cancertouched down on my mother. At only 58 years old at time of diagnosis (yes, ayoung and otherwise very healthy, beautiful woman and yes... it was found welladvanced and considered terminal...) with NO family history of this"Silent Killer" creeping into her genetic design, you can onlyimagine what hearing the news was like for her. For my father. For hergrandchildren. For me...

Knowing full well you may never meet & know her personally, I can only tellyou (and hope you learn from my words here) that my mother's fantastic moxiemixed with her 20+ years as a nurse herself make for a combined force to bereckoned with. She didn't lay down and let this news take her spirit. And thoseat Dana Farber didn't either! They hit the the ground running with state of theart care, surgery, chemo treatments, support, kindness, understanding and love.

As I write this, the date is August 11, 2015. My mother was originallydiagnosed November, 2014. And today marks a week since her most recent"post chemo" check up... after which she was told that her cancer isback.

After only 4 short months.

Again, we put her continued care and treatment in the hands of the worldrenowned health care providers only found at Dana Farber & Woman'sHospital.

Without a doubt, they are where she will receive everything possible & thatcan't happen without the funds they receive.

Let's be real...

ERASING CANCER FROM THE PLANET TAKES A LOT OF MONEY.

I know it. You know it. AND WE CAN DO IT.

I personally pledge, from this day of page creation and forward, to donate aminimum of 10% (that's roughly $8,000 to $10,000 annually) of each and everypay check I earn right to Dana-Farber & The Jimmy Fund for the continuedresearch, development, treatment, needs and (one day) to help discover the cureI know exists and is just waiting for discovery!

Now... that's my personal pledge. I don't mean to tell others what is right forthem. Everyone is different and that's what makes the world a wonderful place.Diversity.

But.... I do ask you to ask yourself:

"What can I do to make a difference?"

Then listen for the answer only found inside yourself.

THEN..... DO IT.
