WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

After a four-month battle with rare chromophobe renal cell carcinoma of the kidney, Karen passed away peacefully on March 7, 2019.

Karen spent the length of her treatment under the world renowned kidney specialists on rare chromophobe carcinoma, Dr. Toni K. Choueiri MD, Director of the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a donation to Dr. Toni K Choueriri and his research team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. All donations will go towards Dr. Choueriri's research in rare chromophobe renal cell carcinoma. We hope that our contributions will help support the development of better treatments so that other lives may be saved.

Karen is survived by her husband Terry, her son Ryan, and her daughter Victoria Marks.
