WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Thank you for visiting my Giving Page to support thyroid cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
As most of you know, I have been a patient of Dana Farber's for 3 years now, and am currently on a clinical trial which was developed at Dana Farber. Previously, I was on 3 different chemotherapy options, some of which have worked for other people, and have provided me with life extensions, but not a cure. While I am quite grateful for these options, we are still looking for cures.
As Denny and I are getting married shortly, we are requesting that any marriage gifts be made to this fund, as this would be the best present we could ask for. Any gift of any size could possibly contribute to finding a cure, or even just extending someone's life (maybe even mine!).
