Kristy Anne Jennings was a vibrant, caring, and beautiful woman of faith. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer on 02/13/2018. She was determined to live a life of joy, faith, and kindness, and she witnessed these qualities to her family prior to her death. She never let her diagnosis define her life, and continued to do what she loved: travel, read, spend time with her family, and love her God. She battled this disease for 16 months before her death on 09/04/2019. Kris was surrounded by friends, family, and a phenomenal care team. She received the best possible care through both the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Center in Boston, MA. To honor her determination, spunk, and spirited fight, we ask that friends and family donate to support these amazing facilities in lieu of flowers. Kris spoke highly of her doctors and nursing team. Through the expertise of her physicians and the continuous care of her nurses, she was comforted, cared for, and supported by a truly gifted group of people who had her healing at the forefront of their minds. Thank you for visiting this Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
We intend to use these donations to help Dana-Farber provide expert, compassionate care to children and adults. This facility is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Kris' body may not have beaten cancer, but her spirit lives on in eternity. We hope that these donations may support future cancer survivors.
