WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

Thank you for visiting the Andover Police Department’s Giving Page to support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

This year the Andover Police Department is fundraising to honor one of our own, Sergeant Charles Edgerly who is currently fighting kidney cancer. With early detection, support from family and friends, a great medical team, including those at Dana-Farber, Chuck is winning the fight. 


We chose Dana-Farber as they provide expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advance Dana-Farber’s mission.
