Thank you for visiting our Giving Page in honor of Chuck. Your kind gift will support cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In particular, it will benefit the work of Dr. Robert J. Mayer of the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology through his Fellowship Program.
Chuck was so grateful for the compassionate care and expert clinical care that he received from Dr. Mayer and the team and staff at Dana-Farber. It enabled him to enjoy more time than might have been expected with family and friends over the last three and one half years.
The Fellowship Program ensures that through mentoring, those essential skills and qualities continue from one generation of doctors to the next.
Thank you for helping to see that such exceptional care continues to be available to those who face the dire diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, an area of cancer care that has been underfunded in the past.
